SDAV as co-organiser

SDAV × AKEE

How do entrepreneurs, institutions and technology actually work together — and what does that ask of a company today? SDAV and AKEE are giving that question a day, in Egerkingen.

The Mövenpick Hotel Egerkingen by day: a chalet-style building with a steep dark roof and dormer windows, the covered entrance canopy on wooden pillars, the cobbled driveway and lawn in front, the Swiss flag on its mast, wooded hills behind.

Why this day

Economic progress increasingly depends on cooperation: between the entrepreneurs who build companies, the institutions that set the framework they work in, and the technologies that are changing both. Those three worlds rarely spend a day in the same room. SDAV and AKEE are organising this one so that they do.

Artificial intelligence and data are part of the programme; they are not its only subject. The day also covers entrepreneurship and the economy, digitalisation, innovation and international cooperation — because the question that matters to a business is not which technology is new, but what stronger companies, better networks and cross-border cooperation actually require.

The format follows from that: interventions of 10 to 15 minutes rather than long lectures, a room of around 50 to 60 people rather than an audience, and time set aside for conversation, including around the shared meal that closes the day.

Who it is for

The day is addressed to the people who decide in and around businesses:

  • Entrepreneurs and employers
  • Leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • AI engineers and data specialists
  • Economic experts
  • Employers’ associations and chambers of commerce
  • Institutional representatives

Speakers

The list of speakers is still being finalised. It will be published here, contribution by contribution, as each one is confirmed — and not before: an invitation is not a confirmation.

One thing can already be said: SDAV has asked the President of AKEE to give one of the short interventions. That request has been made, and confirmation is still pending.

Cooperation

AKEE — the Association of Kurdish Employers in Europe (Yekîtiya Kardarên Kurd li Ewropê) — brings together entrepreneurs, employers and business representatives from several European countries. Both associations organise this day together.

They already know each other’s work. In March 2026, SDAV was invited to the 11th General Assembly of AKEE in Königswinter, Germany, and contributed to its programme as a speaker. The day in Egerkingen continues that exchange, in the other direction.

Attending

Attendance is by invitation, and the number of places is limited to around 50 to 60.

Organisations and individuals interested in taking part can write to info@sdav.ch, indicating their organisation, their role and their interest in the themes of the day. An expression of interest is registered; it is not a confirmation of attendance.
